TitanPro – Privacy Policy

This privacy policy informs you clearly and understandably about how your data is handled in the TitanPro app.

Last updated: July 6, 2026

Version: 1.3

1. Data Controller

The data controller responsible for data processing in connection with this app is:

As TitanPro is developed by an individual, no physical mailing address is published. The email address above is available at all times for any privacy-related inquiries.

2. Overview: Where is data stored?

  • Local Storage: Training and app data (e.g., exercises, plans, settings) are stored primarily locally on your device.

  • iCloud: Optionally, you can back up your data via iCloud.

  • Advertising Measurement: Depending on your settings, certain usage and device data may be transmitted to Meta Platforms Ireland Limited (Facebook/Meta) to measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns (see Section 5). This data is not used to store your training content, but for reach and conversion measurement.

3. What data is processed?

3.1 Data in the App (Local / iCloud)

The following data may be processed within the app:

  • Training data: Exercises, weights, repetitions, workout plans, progress photos (if used).

  • App settings: Weight unit, background style, language, personal preferences.

  • iCloud synchronization / backup: Backup data for use across devices (optional).

  • Export/import files: Temporary files for sharing workout plans.

This data is not transmitted to us as developers and remains on your device or in your iCloud account.

3.2 Apple Health (HealthKit) – Optional

If you expressly allow it, TitanPro can be connected to Apple Health:

  • Written: Workout/training session, duration, estimated calories (if applicable).

  • Read: Body weight (exclusively for calorie calculation).

Health data is not transmitted to Meta or to us.

3.3 Advertising and Usage Data (Meta App Events) – Optional

If you consent to app tracking (ATT) and the app sends Meta events, the following data may be transmitted to Meta:

  • Device identifiers: E.g., advertising ID (IDFA) or anonymous device ID, to attribute advertising to app installations.

  • Usage data and product interaction: E.g., app launch, onboarding completed, first workout, trial started, to measure user behavior for advertising optimization.

  • Purchase and subscription data: E.g., trial started, subscription purchased, product ID, and where available, price and currency, for conversion measurement.

Not sent to Meta: Your training content, exercise details, progress photos, or Apple Health data.

4. Apple Health (HealthKit)

  • What is written: Workout/training session (strength training), duration, and calories (estimated—only if body weight is available in Apple Health).

  • What is read: Body weight (body mass), exclusively for calorie calculation.

  • Calorie Calculation: Calories are only calculated if a weight is stored in Apple Health. Without weight, no calories are saved. Calculation uses a moderate MET value ($5.0$).

  • Consent and Control: Reading and writing only take place after your express consent via the iOS permission dialog. You can revoke permission at any time in the Health app.

  • No Disclosure to Meta: Apple Health data is not transmitted to Meta, us, or other third parties for advertising purposes.

5. Advertising, Tracking, and Meta (Facebook)

5.1 App Tracking Transparency (ATT)

On iOS, the app asks you (where required) whether you allow tracking across apps and websites. This concerns the use of the advertising ID (IDFA) to measure advertising campaigns. You can change your decision at any time under Settings > Privacy > Tracking.

5.2 Meta App Events

TitanPro uses the Meta SDK to measure events such as app installation, onboarding, workouts, and purchases.

  • Purpose: To measure and optimize our own advertising campaigns on Meta (Facebook/Instagram). No third-party ads are displayed within the app.

  • Recipient: Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland.

  • Meta Privacy Policy: https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy/

5.3 SKAdNetwork (Apple)

Regardless of ATT, Apple may transmit aggregated install data to ad networks (including Meta) via SKAdNetwork without you being personally identifiable.

6. Sharing Workout Plans

The app allows you to share self-created workout plans:

  • Sharing only occurs through your active action (export/share).

  • No training progress or personal profiles are transmitted.

  • Recipients receive only the plan with exercises.

7. Purpose of Data Processing
